We sat with that idea for a long time. Then we tried to map our family's operating system on paper. Then we noticed all the gaps. Then we rebuilt it, piece by piece, over two years of Sunday nights.

Twelve pillars. Every domain a family actually lives in. Nothing left out. Nothing pretending to be optional.

This is our map. It's not the only map. It's the one we use. We're giving it to you because we wish somebody had given it to us ten years ago.
